Keep your legal knowledge, matter context and saved progress in Relex. Connect a compatible agent to work from that context, without rebuilding the background whenever you change tools.
Choose the supported surface
Harvey BYOMCP Availability depends on the host product, plan and organization policy. Check the host’s instructions below. Gemini CLI support does not imply that the consumer Gemini app accepts custom MCP servers. Muse AI and other unverified clients are not listed as supported integrations.
Authorize your connection
Add https://relex.legal/api/mcp as a remote MCP server in the supported host interface, then complete the Relex OAuth sign-in and review the permissions. Where required, an administrator first enables the connection and each user authorizes their own account. Do not paste credentials or confidential client information into a chat.
Continue a matter
Ask the connected agent to find the matter in Relex, read its permitted context, and save the conclusion after working. A second authorized agent can consult that saved record. Connection does not import private chat history from the host.
Harvey security and availability
BYOMCP and the reviewed Connector Library are different paths. This guide is not a claim that Relex is approved or listed by Harvey. Validate OAuth 2.1 with S256, protected-resource and authorization-server discovery in your environment before enabling. Do not rely on Harvey to confirm write actions or revoke tokens on disconnect; revoke the connection in Relex as well.
