Clear the backlog without hiring
Intake, drafting, signature and invoicing in one place. Work that moved between four tools and three people moves in one.
Use AI on real client work
Protected identities, authorized matter context and dedicated steps for sensitive data let you use agents on real work.
Keep the client, the money and the know-how
You remain the service provider. Your knowledge and matter context stay in Relex independently of the connected agent; platform commission is 0%, with payment-provider fees separate.
Running in days, not a build project
Published prices, free to try, no card and no call. Or let us set it up for you.
Connect your agent. It runs your cases, never your clients' identities.
Your agent runs the whole matter and only ever sees labels like [Party 1]. Real names are encrypted in your browser and documents are de-identified there, before anything leaves your device. Connect any MCP client over OAuth, with no key to paste. Relex is the platform that makes an agent rigorous and safe for legal work.
Your work, as a living model.
“Context” is an informal way to hand an AI information; an ontology is a formal one. Relex maps each matter as a formal structure: parties, issues, claims, statutes, obligations and the links between them.
Your files have a workspace. Give your legal context one too.
From intake to payment, with one matter context your authorized agents can reuse. Keep Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for everyday files and email; use Relex for the legal workflow around them.
| Your decision | Relex + your agent | Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 |
|---|---|---|
| Change agents | Reuse saved facts, sources and progress through supported connectors | Files remain available; continuing matter context depends on your setup |
| Protect identities | Client-side sealing; authorized agents use de-identified context | Suite security and permissions; assess the configured AI data flow |
| Use fewer input tokens | Retrieve relevant context instead of resending the whole file | Depends on retrieval, caching and the assistant; measure both |
| Run legal work | Intake, knowledge, research, matters, agreements, signatures and billing | Docs, email and collaboration; assemble the legal workflow |
| Build your platform | Legal SDK: matter APIs and shared client-side protection | General platform APIs; implement your legal data model and controls |
| Reach a lawyer | Marketplace discovery and an approved matter invitation | Arrange professional discovery and the handover separately |
Product-fit comparison, not a performance ranking. Plans, integrations and setup matter. See the comparison for sources and a repeatable evaluation protocol.
The questions that actually decide it
Can I switch AI agents without starting over?
Yes. Keep the matter, documents and saved conclusions in Relex; authorize another compatible agent through MCP to pick up that context. You do not need to explain the case from scratch. Private chat histories are not imported automatically. How portable context works →
Why should I trust you with client data?
Don’t take our word for it. Supported browser processing de-identifies documents locally and seals detected identity data before cloud storage. Relex stores ciphertext and encrypted key material for portability—not your PII password. Private-server and custom-endpoint reading have different data paths. Check the actual mode, file type and requests with the verification guide. Don’t trust—verify your data’s path →
Why add Relex if we already use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
Keep them for email and documents. Relex adds a legal matter structure, protected identity workflows, private know-how and context your authorized agents can reuse—from intake to signature and payment. It is a purpose-built legal workspace alongside your office tools, not another general-purpose drive. Compare legal and office workspaces →
Can this reduce my AI token usage?
It can reduce repeated context. Agents can read a matter summary, retrieve relevant passages from your private know-how and reuse saved conclusions instead of loading the whole file each time. Actual token use depends on the agent and task; savings are not guaranteed. Context and token use →
Can we build our own legal platform or client portal?
Yes. Use the Legal SDK and Relex APIs for a custom interface on the same matter, identity-protection and agent-access foundations. Start with supported integrations and examples. Your team still controls permissions, deployment and professional review. Build with the Legal SDK →
Can clients and their agents find my firm?
The Marketplace makes published, verified professional profiles discoverable by specialty, jurisdiction and language. AI-first firms can bring approved requests into their workspace. Agents can help find a professional and prepare a request; the client approves sharing in Relex. You keep the client relationship. The agentic law firm Marketplace →
What does the Marketplace cost?
The Marketplace is $99/month, with a full year free from first publication and 0% Relex commission on client payments. Unlimited client invitations and e-signatures are included. Workspace pricing is separate; payment-provider fees may apply.
How do I start?
Create a workspace at relex.legal in one click, no card. Set a PII password, add your know-how, and run a real matter. To use your own agent, connect it over OAuth; there is no key to paste.
