# Legal Marketplace

The Relex Legal Marketplace lets verified legal professionals receive case invitations, validate AI-generated drafts, invoice clients, and get paid through Stripe Connect Express.

## Who can join

- **Lawyers** licensed in their jurisdiction
- **Notaries** with active certification
- **Compliance & regulatory specialists**
- **Paralegals & document specialists**

## What you get

- A full year free for every partner. The clock starts when you first go live in the directory, not when you register, and un-publishing does not reset it. Subscribe part-way through and you keep the remainder of the year free.
- Listing in the Relex partner directory with verification badges
- A case briefing when you are invited, so you can judge the matter without reading the whole chat first: the tier, the legal issues the agent has locked, and the statute each one cites. It is assembled from the case record rather than paraphrased by a model, and it is redacted, so it carries no client identities.
- Invoicing flows that bill from your own Stripe-connected account, with no commission taken
- Reviews & ratings tied to delivered work
- Dispute mediation by Relex operators

## How it works

1. **Register** via `/partners/register` — provide a profile photo (required), legal details, regulator info, tier rates, and hourly rates
2. **Stripe Connect** onboarding pre-fills your data, runs Stripe Identity verification, and creates 6 priced products on your account (3 onboarding tiers × 1h consultancy + 3 hourly tiers)
3. **Verification runs automatically** — once Stripe Identity confirms who you are, Relex queries the official regulator (state bar, BRAK, SRA, etc.) using the licence number and legal name you submitted. See [Verification](/docs/partner-program/verification) for what happens at each step.
4. **Get invited** — partners see a partner-only "Invitations" section in the dashboard sidebar
5. **Validate drafts** — read access to the case + ability to validate the AI's draft revisions
6. **Mark Delivered** when done — tags the released draft and prompts the client to rate
7. **Get paid** through your Stripe Connect account; Relex takes no application fee
